We were so honored to be a part of Melissa and Josh's big day. You could not find a sweeter couple anywhere and their wedding reflected the love they have for each other as well as for their friends and family. Their wedding took place in Nashville, TN at the amazing Bridge Building. It sits right on the water and it is simply breathtaking. We were even treated to The Zach Brown Band as they played just over the river. You could hear them perfectly! Pretty amazing. For the design, we used a combination of golds, creams, deep lilacs, and hints of green to create a lush look that would complement the architectural detailing of the Bridge Building.

A close second to, "When's the date?" and "Where is the Wedding?" is the loaded "What are you Wedding Colors?!?". For us, we take this question very seriously. After every consultation we sit down and brain storm a color story and mood board for that bride. We really take it as the backbone of the whole event. We think about the location, the couples interest, the time of year, and what they are gravitating to color wise.

Autumn has always been my favorite season, and every year I look forward to breaking out the sweaters and watching the neighborhood kids head back to school. Fall is the perfect time for a wedding, but it’s really easy to fall into the typical “Autumn Wedding” color palette.
